The Strategic Analyst role aligned well with my interests and skill set, and the chance to be part of a high impact, award-winning team made Snap the ideal place to begin my journey. I began my career with the Analytics team at Snap Finance. I started by building foundational knowledge, focusing on understanding the industry and my role within it. Over time, I was given opportunities to take ownership of larger, more impactful projects – something I had set as a key goal for myself. One of the most important factors in my development has been the exposure to all areas of the business, which has given me a broader understanding and helped accelerate my growth at Snap.

Being at the early stages of my career, the support and guidance I’ve received since day one has been invaluable. From regular check-ins to ongoing mentorship, every aspect has contributed to my continuous development. Most importantly, being surrounded by like-minded and experienced professionals – both within my team and across Snap – has been the most impactful factor in helping me grow. At my time at Snap, my greatest achievement has been my contribution to the improvement of our collections repayment strategy. I have focused on how we can refine the existing strategy to better fit our current portfolio of customers. This has involved testing various strategies, listening to customer feedback, and analysing performance to ensure good outcomes. I’ve had the privilege of working closely with both the Operations and Change teams, and I look back on this as a truly valuable learning experience.

I would describe the Snap culture as very closely-knit: everyone is friendly, approachable and supportive. There’s never a moment without a strong sense of collaboration across teams, and everyone is always willing to share their knowledge or lend a hand. I’m fortunate to be part of such a great workplace environment. To anyone considering a career at Snap Finance, my advice would be: if you want to be part of a fast-growing company that genuinely cares about its customers and invests in its people, then Snap is the right place to be. I’m genuinely grateful that I chose to begin my journey here.
