Minesh
Finance Manager
I was introduced to Snap Finance by a friend who already worked at the company. They spoke highly of the culture and the opportunities to grow, particularly within the finance function. That personal recommendation gave me confidence that Snap was a place where I could contribute meaningfully while developing my skills, which led me to apply.
I joined Snap Finance as the Financial Analysis and Planning manager and have remained in that role since. While I haven’t formally changed roles, the scope of my responsibilities has grown over time, and I’ve been able to take on increasingly complex tasks. This has helped me deepen my understanding of the business. Snap has been very supportive of my development from day one. My manager has consistently encouraged me to challenge myself and provided guidance where needed. I’ve also had strong support from the analytics team, who have helped me build and sharpen my SQL skills. This hands-on collaboration has played a key role in enabling me to do my job effectively and gain confidence in working with data.
The on-the-job learning and mentorship I’ve received from my team has been incredibly valuable. Working closely with both my manager and the analytics team has given me the opportunity to pick up new skills organically while delivering real business impact. The culture at Snap can really be summed up by the phrase "GSD – Get Stuff Done." There’s a strong focus on ownership, initiative, and delivering results. That culture has helped me develop a proactive mindset and has encouraged me to continuously find ways to add value beyond just completing tasks. The support and autonomy I’ve experienced have made it easier to grow in my role.
Be ready to be part of a team that really pulls together to get things done. It’s a fast-paced environment where people are expected to pitch in, solve problems, and take ownership. If you enjoy working with others, staying adaptable, and making a real impact, you’ll thrive here.
