Head of Account Management
What stood out to me about Snap Finance was the ambition to reinvent itself. The company was transitioning from being a traditional high APR lender to a dynamic second-line provider, offering fairer, more flexible finance based on a rate-for-risk model. That direction immediately resonated with me.
I joined the business to lead the Account Management function at a time when Snap was preparing for the next phase of its journey. The launch of SnapFlex and SnapCard, along with a genuine focus on responsible lending, made it clear that this was a place where innovation and impact could go hand in hand. My experience gave me the platform to contribute from day one and help steer the business through this exciting period of transformation. I came into Snap with a brief to help build something scalable, future-focused, and customer-centric. From leading the Account Management team, my role quickly expanded into helping shape commercial strategy, supporting product rollouts, and bridging the gap between operations and senior leadership. The pace and ambition of the business meant I was involved in much more than the day-to-day. From regulatory transitions to launching new propositions like SnapFlex and SnapCard, I’ve had the chance to be right at the centre of decision-making. That breadth has made this journey both challenging and incredibly rewarding. Snap has created an environment where you are trusted to lead and supported in your growth.
There’s a genuine belief in empowering people to take ownership and deliver results, but also a recognition that collaboration is key. Some of the managers I work closely with across Marketing, Finance, Operations, Compliance, Project Management, HR and Tech Development have been nothing short of brilliant. They are knowledgeable, approachable, and genuinely open to discussion and new ideas. Whether it's brainstorming solutions or navigating complex challenges, there’s always a willingness to collaborate and push things forward as a team. But it’s not just at the leadership level. One of the things that really sets Snap apart is the attitude and commitment of the wider business. From top to bottom, people here are helpful, respectful, and focused. No matter what challenge they’re faced with, they rise to it—and always with the customer front of mind. That mindset runs through every function and is never taken for granted. It’s recognised, appreciated, and genuinely makes this a great place to work.
Everyone is encouraged to challenge the norm, bring ideas to the table, and take accountability. Change is constant, but it’s handled with optimism and a clear sense of purpose. The managers I work closely with have been outstanding. Their openness, pace, and collaborative approach make a huge difference in how we operate as a business and how we grow as individuals. That mindset has had a considerable influence on my development. Being trusted to lead during moments of change, whether driven by operations or regulation, has built resilience and sharpened my ability to prioritise what matters. It’s a culture that rewards clarity, ownership, and action, and that’s what makes Snap such a motivating and rewarding place to be.
Since I joined, It’s been an incredible journey, packed with challenges, change, and a huge sense of momentum. Never a dull day is probably the easiest way to describe it. There’s always something to keep you on your toes, and when you reflect on where we were a year ago compared to today, the progress is nothing short of amazing. Couple that with what’s on the roadmap for the next few years, and I’d say exciting is probably an understatement. If you want to work somewhere that moves quickly, embraces innovation, and gives you space to grow, Snap is the right place.
